Community Learning Promoted
at Larkspur Spring Festival
Members of the Community Learning Department worked a booth at the annual Larkspur Spring Festival on Saturday, June 7. They promoted the spring and summer classes, with an emphasis on those held at the Bend Senior Center, site of the festival. An important part of the promotion was to let the hundreds of visitors know that the community learning classes, like the center, were not just for senior citizens but community members as well.

Just wanted to say that I was at the festival and you folks did a great job. Thanks for promoting my class.
Thanks so much to our dedicated instructors! They are fantastic ambassadors for Community Learning and for the topics they teach.
We are truly blessed with talented instructors who know their material and how to share it effectively.
The Larkspur Spring Festival was a great success thanks in great part to our instructors, Tom, Steven, Michelle and Larry (who provided the RV - a great prop to promote his RV Maintenance class - and provided shade for the booth workers!)
We truly have great instructors who give of their time and resources generously! Everyone have a great summer!
